National committees |
The PI/Alliance International national committees are groups that represent our members that work together to offer national board guidance on programs and policies pertaining to strategic initiatives.
In order to ensure fairness, committee positions are appointed by the Board. National committee efforts are led by committee chars who bring the committee’s suggestions to the Board for review and approval. Committee members serve at the discretion of the board and may review and suggest policies and programs if they are aligned with the organization’s strategic direction. Budget and Finance CommitteeThe PI/Alliance International Budget and Finance Committee is appointed and charged with responsibilities associated with the fiscal health and well-being of the association. Business Development CommitteeThe PI/Alliance International Business Development Committee is appointed and charged with responsibilities associated with engaging with potential business partners, sponsors, and advertisers for the purpose of generating revenue, creating collaborative relationships and building brand awareness around the association, it’s members, and our programs and services. Content CommitteeThe PI/Alliance International Content Committee is appointed and charged with responsibilities associated with building member value through establishing, creating, and curating relevant industry news, tools, and resources. The Committee performs content needs assessments, determine valuable data and content that is consistent with the PI/Alliance International mission, strategic plan, brand. Education CommitteeThe PI/Alliance International Education Committee is appointed and charged with identifying and building the association’s content and education that will elevate the profession. Committee performs assessments, plan, develop, guide, and evaluate member education and content, to include topics, speaker. Empower Conference CommitteeThe PI/Alliance International Conference Committee is appointed and charged with planning and executing the association’s annual Empower conference. The Committee determines the speaker selection process, works with staff on conference logistics, assist with social media communications, evaluate previous conferences to address changing attendee needs, and ensure the goals of the conference are met. Governance CommitteeThe Governance Committee upholds the standards and integrity of PI/Alliance International’s national election process. It coordinates election efforts, reviews all potential candidates for elections to ensure they meet the minimum criteria required for each position and conducts the election process. Marketing and Social Media CommitteeThe PI/Alliance International Marketing and Social Media Committee is appointed and charged with responsibilities associated with communicating the value of PI/Alliance International, membership, and other programs and services. The Committee shall provide a branding and marketing strategy, advise on campaigns, and serve as social media ambassadors for the association. Membership CommitteeThe PI/Alliance International Membership Committee is appointed and charged with responsibilities associated with recruitment, retention, member benefits and satisfaction of members. The Committee performs needs assessments, plan, develop, guide, and evaluate member programs and communications, to include member benefits, services and/or programs consistent with the PI/Alliance International mission, strategic plan, brand, with the direction provided by the PI/Alliance International Board of Directors. |
